How I do it

Developing a Strategy

Having a website online is only the beginning of the journey.

To get the best return on investment from your website you need to have visitors and to get visitors, your website needs to appear on the Search Engine Result Pages (SERPs).  Search engines uses algorithms to rate / rank your website and your website can be optimised to help this ranking. This is often referred as Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and uses multiple tools and methodologies.

But SEO is only one part of the strategy… You need to be clear on what visitors need to do to become customers. Ranking high on a SERP increases traffic but does not directly translate in business growth!!

This requires some careful planning and understanding of your business. Your business is unique (and so are you). Creating a truly personalised strategy requires research and collaboration to ensure you can be seen where you want to be seen.

01

Understanding your business

This is the most important step. Unfortunately, this is often the one being skipped!! Before embarking on a journey we need to establish where do you want to go, how would you go there, how long it would take and what is required to reach your destination.

02

Auditing your website

We can only fix problems once we know what they are. A website audit will help us to establish the current state of your website and guide us in determining which actions will be required in order to achieve your business goals.

Performing a Website Audit

A full audit can provide an invaluable analysis of your website as part of a strategy development or simply to highlight issues with your website. If your website is performing badly (load time, number of visits, number of returning customers…) you need to get an audit to find out why.

01

Understanding your challenges

We will spend time discussing your existing challenges so we can focus the audit on these areas. In depth audit can be lengthly and may not always be necessary!!
